This was the first time I've painted a digital landscape and I must say it was really hard! :S Since the size is so small I guess you can't see the girl very well, but if anyone is interested I can show you the bigger version as well (the size I worked in was 6000x6000 pixels).. 
) so in the end I had to take alot away to make it less messy..

It looks amazing, the landscape withing her dress, especially. It really captures the essence of Hel. Great work. Are her lanterns supposed to kinda be stars? That is what I thought when I saw them, but I may be missing some type of deeper meaning....
I really do love it.
And who says the door of hell cannot be pretty? Her beauty is a trap to lure you into her evil clutches
